Sonar
Jennifer French says "my transfer seat has 3 components, the seat, foot system and tiller extension. They were all developed in 2004-2005 with additional improvements thru 2008. The transfer seat is an aluminum molded frame with parallel Harken tracks. The seat is mounted onto the tracks with a swivel. The seat is basically ago-cart seat. The seat system fits into most Sonars and it secured with 2bolts thru the traveler track with the weight on the side seats. This seating system was originally designed by Gene Hinkel with input from Darrick at JTR, JP Creignou, Tim French, Colin Park and Ed Sherman
The foot system is made of PVC piping. A swivel has a platform with snowshoe harnesses mounted to it. The foot system secures the feet, keeps them out of the way of the seating system and keeps my calves away from the fiberglass side seats in the case of an accidental fall. The system fits into any Sonar. It was designed by Tim and Joe French.
The tiller extension helps due to my low hand gripping ability since I'm a quad. When my hands give out, I use my wrists to steer the boat. The extension is made of aluminum and is mounted onto any Sonar tiller. It was originally designed out of coat hanger wire by Ed Sherman and then built by Gene Hinkel out of Aluminum."
