SailWell Academy: a unique educational program that combines core curriculum, wellness practices, and learning to sail.
In partnership with Lightwork Education and Wellness Center, SailWell Academy offers a hands-on, inclusive “whole person” learning experience with a focus on student wellness and learning to sail.
Going beyond the traditional classroom, SailWell Academy is designed to focus on personal development, teamwork, and critical life skills, while providing a therapeutic, safe and fun experience learning to sail on the calm waters of Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove.
Who SailWell Academy is for:
Kids in 6th-8th grade
Students who can physically participate in sailing
Students who are willing and interested in learning how to sail, and being in and around the waters of Biscayne Bay
Where and When:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
