Stealth CORPORATE REGATTA

Team Charles prevails

This event brought together a wonderful group who flew into Miami specifically to participate. Although we had obtained signed participation waivers with photo releases, the group requested anonymity, and we were happy to honor their wishes.

Originally scheduled for 18 participants, a few were unfortunately unable to attend. We ultimately sailed with five boats, providing plenty of room and a great experience for everyone.

The day began with light winds, but as the afternoon progressed, conditions improved, allowing us to complete three exciting races with tight scores. Team Charles emerged victorious, and the atmosphere on the dock afterward was one of all smiles.

A heartfelt thank you to our guests for their enthusiasm and to our dependable and skilled volunteers, whose efforts made the event a success.

Please note: Team Paradise is happy to offer a non-photo release participation waiver for future events, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and respected.

  • Consider the distinction between mastery and the value of immersive experiences. The "10,000-hour rule" applies to deep expertise, but our corporate sailing experience isn't about making expert sailors; it's about putting people in an unfamiliar environment where they must adapt, communicate, and work together under real, immediate pressure.

That's what makes it a powerful team-building exercise. Participants aren't expected to sail like pros in just four hours, but they are expected to engage, problem-solve, and collaborate in ways they wouldn't in an office or conference room. The unpredictability of sailing, where conditions constantly change, mirrors the unpredictability of business, making it a great way to reveal leadership, teamwork, and resilience.

If you're framing this for clients, you could emphasize that while mastery takes thousands of hours, personal growth and team dynamics can shift in just a few. The goal isn't perfection; it's discovery.
