SYSTEM S11-E5

Relay it is!

Another cold front was supposed to descend on us today. It would bring rain, thunderstoms and windy conditions. It was suggested that we may need to cancel the day before. Looking at the weather radar this morning, it didn’t look good. The SYSTEM sailors stayed inside the classroom doing lab work, while our Next Level sailors did chalk talks and some land drills.

The cold front had not yet arrived. Coach Ella came up with the great idea of having a relay race off the dock. It turned out to be engaging and fun. The course could not be any closer to home; the dock was the start and the finish! We had so much fun, and we will do this again, for sure!

As it turned out, we all made it backinside the building before the cold front finally arrived. Cheers to that!

Lining up! by Magnus Liljedahl

Lining up! This is what you should look like. Each boat is not overlapped, but at the very least, they are within the same picture frame, the sails are trimmed correctly, and they are all pointing in roughly the same direction. Let's do it!
