Going for Gold
This week, Team Paradise headed to the recently renovated War Memorial Auditorium for the eXp South Florida Regional Rally. Part of a massive nationwide series of events, the rally was designed to spark collaboration, offer high-level training, and foster the kind of community engagement that keeps our industry moving forward.
The Mag & Mo Show
So much fun to have Tara nd Steven Kampfer hanging around our display.
The Early Bird Gets the... Prime Real Estate
There’s an old saying in real estate: "Location, location, location." As it turns out, that rule applies just as much to vendor booths as it does to luxury listings. Our Chairman, Mo, and I believe in being prepared. We arrived early—the first vendors on-site, in fact. This gave us the "first mover advantage," allowing us to hand-pick our spot. Mo made the executive decision to snag the 6-foot table directly adjacent to the food-and-beverage section. Whether you’re there for the networking or the keynote speakers, everyone eventually gravitates toward the coffee and snacks. It was a strategic win that kept our team front and center all day.
High-Tech, High-Touch Engagement
We wanted our booth to be more than just a table with business cards. We aimed for a dynamic experience that showcased exactly what Team Paradise is about:
The Pitch Deck: On one screen, we ran our latest pitch deck, giving agents a dive into our mission.
The Reel Deal: On a larger display, we looped our Instagram Reels to showcase the high-energy culture that defines our brand.
The Paperless Path: We displayed five distinct flyers highlighting our various programs, each featuring a QR code for instant access.
Grabbing the Mic
Not only did we have a prime display location, but I was also given the opportunity to take the stage for a six-minute speech. Being able to share the Team Paradise vision with a room full of motivated professionals was invaluable. We made some incredible contacts, and the event was undeniably worth the effort.
A Family Affair & Community Growth
Adding to the excitement of the day was having family by my side. My stepdaughter, Tara Kampfer, and her husband, Steven Kampfer, joined us to share the moment. The couple just opened Matterhorn Fit nearby and stopped in to pitch their own upcoming grand opening, which is just a couple of weeks away. It was a fantastic example of how these rallies serve as a springboard for local businesses and community growth, not just real estate transactions.
We left the rally feeling energized, inspired, and more connected to the South Florida real estate community than ever. If you missed us at the booth, don't worry—the "Gold" standard of Team Paradise is always just a QR code away!
I want to extend a massive thank you to Mykel Alfonso for the invitation to this event. Because of our status as a nonprofit, the $2,500 vendor fee was waived—a gesture we truly appreciate.
